The journey is yours to own
Located centrally to Southern California’s beaches, mountains, and desert, the University of Redlands has been educating the heart and mind since 1907.
Redlands welcomes curious intellectuals who are eager to chart their own course. The University integrates the liberal arts and sciences and professional preparation in over 40 programs of study. Guided by faculty in small classes with an average size of 18 students, our undergraduates take what they learn into the community, professional workplace, and programs abroad.
While popular majors include Biology, Business, Communication Sciences & Disorders, and Psychology, some students choose to join the Johnston Center for Integrative Studies, which allows you to design your own major and negotiate the outcomes of your classes with faculty. Our School of Music welcomes everyone: students pursuing a professional path in music as well as those wanting a creative outlet while pursuing other academic interests. And May Term offers a one-month intensive opportunity where students can immerse themselves in experiential learning on campus, in the local community, or around the world.
Explore outside the classroom
There’s more at Redlands than meets the eye. Students can explore their passions and become leaders in over 100 clubs and organizations, on the athletic field, within the city of Redlands, in residence halls, and in the classroom. Academic and social activities keep students engaged and active, such as hearing from renowned speakers like Dolores Huerta, Jane Goodall, and Leland Melvin; participating in community service (with over 120,000 hours served); attending music, art, and theater productions; and creating awareness on campus about social justice issues that impact our communities.
Four-year graduation—guaranteed
