A foundation for the future
Numerous facts and figures attest to the value of a Gonzaga University education: exceptional acceptance rates to prestigious graduate, medical, and law schools; one of the highest CPA exam pass rates in the nation; and job placement in corporations such as Microsoft, Nike, and Amazon.
Additionally, Gonzaga remains committed to challenging students to integrate their studies and actions into a philosophy that promotes a lifetime of learning and serving the common good. An average class size of 23 allows dedicated faculty to closely mentor students in the classroom, and a supportive community nurtures them to grow in mind, body, and spirit.
The Gonzaga experience
Gonzaga University requires first-year and sophomore students to live on campus. Campus life is an exciting blend of maintaining a rigorous academic schedule while fully embracing the vibrant social atmosphere by spending time with close friends. GU offers more than 140 student organizations in areas such as music, theater, cultural clubs, community service, student government, and faith-sharing groups and retreats, as well as Division I athletic teams and club and intramural sports.
In the heart of the Inland Northwest
With nearly 734,000 residents, the Spokane–Coeur d’Alene area provides numerous internships as well as outlets for cultural and artistic expression. A scenic 15-minute walk along part of the 37-mile Centennial Trail brings students into vibrant downtown Spokane, which offers a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment choices. Additionally, students can explore snow-capped mountains, lakes, and scenic hiking trails all within a 50-mile radius of campus.
Rewarding your achievements
Students are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships when applying for admission. However, some awards—such as Gonzaga’s scholarships for outstanding community members and leaders—require additional qualifications and application procedures.
Gonzaga is test optional, including for all scholarship, Honors Program, and direct entry Nursing and Engineering applicants.
